Should corruption in government be allowed? Should Ukraine comprimise?

 Finland and South Korea comprimised and survived.  Should Ukraine?

Good to see that both nations are thriving today because they compromised

BUT if anyone in my family was killed in a war, I would spend the rest of my life getting revenge.  I wouldn't care about the future and would race to my death to get even.  my gut tells me that this is the case in Gaza and Ukraine but not Taiwan because no fighting has started there

What about Alexander Hamilton's belief that people in government should be allowed to steal a little but not a lot to keep their interest in preserving the social contract.  That is clearly what Trump is doing, sending his two sons and son in law all over the world to grab up as much as they can.  And I wonder what deal Trump has with Musk?  Is a little bit of government corruption ok?  You will probably say "no" but I disagree.

He killed all prosecution, got Walter Anneberg to make him the President of the United Negro College Fund and now the Phila train station is named after him.  And young black men kept him as a hero and role model. 

And look at Eric Adams who is being ruined for getting upgrades on his plane travel.  Amazing.  Why would any young black man want to get involved with the government now?

Hamilton, as the leader of the Federalist party, was an enemy of Jefferson, and his political project did not long survive his 1804 death by duel (killed by Aaron Burr after being instrumental in blocking Burr from becoming U.S. President in 1800 and New York governor in 1804). His economic system, as we will see, was placed on much firmer ground and lives on today in our banking and capitalist wealth. Hamilton’s system allowed for corruption and concentration of wealth, which came to fruition quickly, and especially in the years of the industrial robber barons, almost as great as any ever seen. The financial centers of the east coast allowed the capitalists to effectively control the entire country economically, even if the southern “democrats” long held political power. The wealth and population of the North powered it to a win the war of attrition over the Southern slave states. At this point, the economic and democratic systems of Hamilton and Jefferson converged, combining both their positive and negative attributes. The democratic franchise was expanded, but the economic might of the industrial north also gained more political power, which it has arguably held, with ups and downs, to the present day.
