This is a joke - a very bad joke.

None of these new laws will make ANY difference to the American people unless off shore banking and its associated so called "tax deferment" schemes are eliminated. Successful derivative traders are super bright people who do nothing to help anyone in our wonderful country except themselves. It is obscene that they can avoid taxes and then can depend on the tax paying American people to have Congress bail them out then they take a hit.

Congress has been snookered. This is the great weakness in the system right now. It promotes cheating on taxes in our brightest minds. And being allowed to cheat on anything rots the souls of these gifted people when they should be doing something more beneficial for the rest of us.
