5 hand colored PERFECT Gould Hummingbird lithographs for $4800 is stupid.
I am offering 5 images for $4800 in a distribution of a complete set of John Gould's hummingbird on March 12, 2011 at 1 pm at my gallery at 1016 Madison.
These are the best known images of birds published in Europe during the entire 19th century. They sell for as much as $9500 EACH.
And I am offering 5 for $4800.

Postscript - we sold all but a few of the shares. Everyone was able to select at least $20,000 in value. So it was a very good day.
