Dominique Strauss-Kahn

Yesterday one of the most powerful bankers in the world was snatched out of his first class seat on his trip back to Paris and was arrested for assaulting a maid in his hotel room in New York City.

The veneer of civilization is thin.  The base animal in all of us is closer to the surface that anyone thinks.

It is constantly amazing that a way is found to hold the 6.5 billion people on this planet together.

The three key professions accomplishing this are the police, physicians and teachers.

Whatever profession comes next - probably engineers - is not nearly as important at these first three.

A prediction - as our world population ages, it will become increasingly difficult to drive with an increasing proportion of our population contracting Alzheimers and dementia.

This group of people will find themselves increasingly getting arrested and going to prison as they find they simply cannot control themselves.  YOU will find that people you thought were your dear friends turning against you and acting abusively.   But those people have changed!

Think about what drove Dominique Strauss-Kahn to ruin his career with one base, vicious act?
