Great story on Graham in the current November issue of the Forbes Life magazine. It follows Graham from his days at Yale selling maps out of his college dorm room to his ongoing crusade to bring integrity to all corners of the map collecting world. He touches on how authenticity and condition are the keys to a map’s value and takes you on a tour of some of the more interesting works in his collection. At one point he says “Maps combine art, power, psychology, history, commerce, and fantasy” - pretty compelling reasons to start collecting maps.
