The new budget that the WSJ reported on today cuts the heating subsidy for heating the poor to 3b from 5.1b.
Why is that???????????????????????????????
It is because of Aubrey McClendon and the risks that he took at Chesapeake Energy on investments he made 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago. Now Natural Gas prices are 20% of their high a few years ago because of his vast improvements and discoveries that deliver Natural Gas to Americans for record low prices.
He should be given a Medal of Freedom for this. The whole country should be thanking you and you should be getting interest free loans from the government to continue your intrepid pursuit of low cost energy for all of us.
Instead your amazing gift to all of us will go unnoticed with no praise. Obama is going to take the credit for this implying that he is cutting back on the poor as much as he is going after the rich.
