They Draw & Travel is an online collection of maps illustrated by artists from around the world. Created by the brother and sister design and illustration team of Nate Padavick and Salli Swindell, They Draw & Travel is doing a great job at keeping the art of map-making alive, relevant and inspiring. Each map on this site is a one-of-a-kind artistic creation. These hand-made maps often highlight off-the-beaten path sites and activities that are personal favorites of the artists. You won't find anything like this in a guidebook! The artists whose work you see in this website are a varied and talented bunch. Some of them are professional illustrators, students and practicing artists, while others are passionate doodlers and drawers. Anyone can submit a map and so far over 600 people have contributed illustrated maps of their favorite places - from Antarctica to Alaska and everywhere in between. They even have an interactive World Map (http://www.theydrawandtravel.
com/map) to help you find all the places in the world that are represented.
