Graham Arader Speaks to Members of The Royal Oak Foundation

Last night at 1016 Madison Avenue, Graham Arader hosted a lecture for members of the Royal Oak Foundation.

The mission of The Royal Oak Foundation is to inspire Americans to learn about, experience and support places of great historic and natural significance in the United Kingdom in partnership with the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. As part of their commitment to education, Mr. Arader spoke to the group about his passion for cartography, his earliest collecting memories and how to judge the quality and condition of maps.

Members also saw the upcoming May 11th auction preview of John James Audubon's aquatints and lithographs - 214 masterpieces from both The Birds of America and The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America will be sold at our 29 East 72nd street gallery location at 1pm. In addition, several original watercolors on vellum by Pierre-Joseph Redoute are being auctioned. For more information about the sale contact Graham at 212-628-3668 or grahamarader@gmail.com.

Below are several images of Mr. Arader speaking about Audubon to the Royal Oak group.
