Arader Galleries Natural History Watercolor Collection
THE MERGER OF ART AND SCIENCE
Arader Galleries is proud to
present the finest collection of Natural History watercolors in private hands.
In scope and quantity the collection rivals the historic institutional
collections at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, and the Royal
Botanic Gardens at Kew. With more than 8,000 original watercolors, it is the
largest collection in America. It is a national treasure.
Arader Galleries is now
seeking partners to secure the collection for the future of our students at a
national institution which would become a center of unparalleled excellence
for the study of the art and history of our natural world, and all that goes
with it, reflecting our past and affecting all our futures: history of
exploration, of politics, of economics, the spectrum of botanical and
zoological sciences, and currently so important, environmental science.
