Graham Arader loves Prescott College

A REMINDER!

Melanie Campbell-Carter will be here at NHI to present Scallywags, Gloryhounds, Visionaries and Conservationists: Stories from the Arader Collection on Thursday, March 21st @ 7PM.

Melanie is a retired family physician from Texas, who accidentally discovered late in life, that she had a knack for drawing. In order to pursue that passion, she moved to southern California to study botanical art.

Since then, her art has been exhibited at many shows, including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and St Petersburg, Russia; and her botanical art resides in permanent collections at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Kauai, Hawaii, and at The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, Brody Educational Center in San Marino, CA.

In 2017, she relocated to Tucson, AZ, where she studies the plants of the Sonoran Desert, and has recently begun a two-year group art project based on the life and botanical art of Sara Plummer Lemmon.

If you can't be here for Melanie's talk,
we invite you to join us via
livestream.

As with all our NHI Speaker Series programs,
Melanie's presentation is free and open to the public!
