Graham Arader loves Brenau University
As you know, our friend Graham is a force of nature. His vision, enthusiasm, and support have created at Brenau University one of the finest natural science history collections in the southeastern United States.
Brenau University was founded in 1878. The name Brenau combines the German word brennen, "to burn" with the atomic symbol for gold, AU, from the Latin aurum. Accordingly, our motto is "as gold refined by fire." We have an independent board of trustees and are a not-for-profit, nonsectarian comprehensive university. The Arader Fund at Brenau is designed to provide students access to some of the world's most significant natural history artists such as Redouté (plants), Audubon (birds), and Bloch (fish). The prints are currently featured in the library, and other prints are being framed that will be located in the science building. Students work with faculty to research the prints, write papers that are graded, and engage in a world of curious wonder that otherwise would be lost in the learning experience at Brenau. That your kindness helps stir curiosity at Brenau means much, and we are grateful.
