Advice to a Freshman at the University of Pennsylvania - October 2024.

 aim for 3 30 minute meals with any full, associate or assistant professor every term

go to the Kislak Library and introduce yourself to the rare books librarian

I made 200k my senior year when two curators introduced me to the head of IBM and Paul Mellon

go to the Van Pelt library and look around.

you worked at 1260 County Line Road that was where the Van Pelt's lived

keep a record of all emails of all people that you meet on ACT. when you get to 1000 names that asset will be worth 1m easy

dont start living full time with any woman.  it is false love and you will miss the experience.  

Even though you are not Jewish, I strongly recommend that you find a way to spend at least 2 weeks in Israel this Summer

In some ways, it is the most important country on earth

 The people are amazing, creative and have great dignity.

a wonderful role model for so many reasons

I BEG you to take TWO accounting courses and one civil engineering course.  Accountants and Engineers rule the world beneath us.

Compete in fields where the number of very smart people is small.  You will have a vastly better chance of winning
