An email sent to the former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO about Henry Kissinger.

Henry Kissinger was a client of mine for 25 years.  His minimum fee for a visit to a foreign leader was 2m and most of the time it was 5m.  And his client would have to pay for the private flight both ways.  And that was 30 years ago.  Your highly admiring friend, Rogers Hormats, is Vice Chairman of Kissinger Associates now but my very big client, Alan Batkin, ran things then.  He was a confirmed Zionist and the only client that received free advice was Israel.   I cared for him as much as I care for you because you both taught me so much and had impeccable integrity.  This is rarer than a Mortier Sea Atlas!!!

One day a water main broke in his building and flooded his office.   I was called in to restore his 250 signed and annotated photographs of him with world leaders.  It was the best 20th century history lesson of my life to see all the leaders that sought his counsel.  

New York City's, Jewish population are the coolest people on the planet by a wide margin.  One of them once told me that Henry Kissinger's parents were caterers and that young Henry would often be called in to help his family serve food at fancy parties. 

The USA is the only country in history where you can go from serving horderves to being the most powerful man on earth.
